Celebrating 50 years since they first partnered in 1974, adidas and the Argentinian Football Federation have revealed a special edition kit and collection. The kit is expected to debut in the match against Peru on 20 November. 50 years ago adidas supplied Argentina with a kit for the first time. Over the next five decades the pair have shared an on-off relationship, with only the odd interruption to regular service from the likes of Uribarri, Le Coq Sportif in the eighties and Reebok around the turn of the millennium. Otherwise it’s been a strong partnership, filled with a rich history that includes two of the nation’s three World Cup wins. And to celebrate the 50th anniversary, Adidas have created a special edition kit and collection.
